Bookings & Payments
To secure your wedding date, a booking fee is required. Please note that I receive a high volume of wedding enquiries, and dates cannot be held without payment. All booking fees and deposits are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.
Makeup services are allocated one hour per person from the agreed start time. Any additional time required will incur a fee of $100 per hour, with a minimum charge of one hour. Any additional services requested on the wedding day must be paid in full on the day.
Final payment is due two weeks prior to your wedding date and is non-refundable. Failure to make full payment by the due date will be treated as a cancellation of your booking.
Minimum Booking Requirements
A minimum booking requirement of 4–5 services or a minimum spend of $1,000 applies to all wedding bookings.
For bridal parties of 5 people or more, services are charged at $200 per person.
Travel Fees & Location Requirements
A call-out fee of $70 applies to all bookings within the Brisbane metropolitan area.
Travel outside of the Brisbane metro area will incur a fee of $70 per hour, calculated each way from my home studio location in Samford Valley.
For locations requiring travel of 2.5 hours or more each way, clients are required to provide and cover accommodation for the night prior to the booking.
An early morning fee of $200 applies for bookings requiring a departure time of 6:00am or earlier.
Clients are responsible for arranging and covering any parking costs associated with the booking. If parking is unavailable or difficult to access, delays to the service schedule may occur.
Trial Appointments
Trial appointments are strongly recommended for brides. Trial fees are separate from the wedding day booking and are non-refundable.
A total of 1.5 hours is allocated for each trial appointment. Minor adjustments and refinements to the originally requested look are welcome during this time. However, if a completely different makeup look is requested, an additional trial appointment will be required and charged at the full trial rate.
Scheduling, Delays & Ready-By Times
I will work closely with your photographer or planner to determine your required “ready by” time. Makeup scheduling will then be planned backward from this time, allowing approximately one hour per person.
To ensure the schedule runs smoothly, clients must be ready at their allocated start time. Delays caused by clients, bridal party members, vendors, venue access issues, late arrivals, or lack of preparedness may affect the completion time of services. I cannot guarantee completion within the original schedule if delays occur outside of my control.
Expectations
While I am happy to take inspiration from reference images or other artists’ work, I cannot replicate another artist’s style exactly. My work reflects my own professional techniques and artistic style developed over time.
Although your skin will be professionally prepped and makeup carefully set, touch-ups throughout the day are expected. Natural skin oils, weather conditions, tears, perspiration, and contact with the skin may affect the longevity and appearance of makeup. Makeup may also settle into fine lines or textured areas over time, which is a normal occurrence and outside of my control.
Touch-Ups
Touch-ups throughout the wedding day are an expected part of maintaining your makeup. Clients are responsible for preserving their makeup after application and avoiding activities that may compromise it, such as exposure to steam, excessive humidity, strenuous activity, or sleeping.
Touch-ups generally include refreshing lipstick, powder, and minor complexion adjustments. Extensive touch-ups or a full reapplication will require additional time and payment.
For larger bridal parties, clients receiving makeup earlier in the schedule are encouraged to avoid unnecessary activities after their application to maintain the best possible finish throughout the day.
Allergies, Sensitivities & Illness
Clients are responsible for informing me of any known allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, or infections prior to their appointment. Such conditions may require modifications to the makeup application process and may affect the final result.
While all care is taken to use professional-grade products and maintain strict hygiene standards, I cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions or sensitivities that may occur.
I reserve the right to refuse service to any client who appears unwell or may pose a health risk to others.
Cold Sores, Viral & Bacterial Infections
Strict hygiene standards are maintained at all times. For health and safety reasons, I will not use my professional kit or brushes on clients with contagious viral or bacterial infections, including cold sores. Clients must disclose any such conditions prior to the appointment. In some cases, services may proceed using the client’s own products and tools, at my discretion.
Client-Supplied Products & Body Makeup
If you request the use of your own skincare or makeup products, I cannot guarantee product performance, compatibility, or longevity throughout the day.
If body makeup is required, the product must be supplied by the client. Please note that my professional foundations and concealers are not designed for application on larger body areas such as arms, legs, or backs.
Children & Workspace Safety
To ensure a safe and efficient working environment, children and pets should be supervised and kept clear of the makeup setup and equipment where possible.
Photography & Social Media Consent
Photographs and videos taken during the booking may be used for portfolio, website, and social media purposes unless otherwise requested in writing by the client prior to the wedding day.
Behaviour
Respectful and professional behaviour is expected at all times. Abusive, inappropriate, or disrespectful conduct will not be tolerated, and I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if necessary.
Cancellations
Cancellations made within 14 days of the wedding date will incur the full balance owing.
Cancellations made within 60 days of the wedding date will incur 50% of the total invoice.
Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the wedding date will forfeit the booking fee only.
Emergencies
In the unlikely event of illness, emergency, severe weather, natural disaster, or circumstances beyond my control preventing me from attending the booking, every reasonable effort will be made to arrange a replacement artist. If this is not possible, all monies paid will be refunded.
Termination of Contract
I reserve the right to terminate the contract at any stage if I believe I am unable to meet the client’s expectations or if the booking is no longer a suitable fit. In such cases, the booking fee will be refunded. My priority is to ensure a positive experience and complete satisfaction for all parties involved.
